4.13.3.2 Response<br />

The following example shows the FolderUpdate command response (section 2.2.2.5.2) sent from<br />

the server to the client. A folderhierarchy:Status element (section 2.2.3.152.5) element value of<br />

1 is returned to indicate that the folder update was successful. The folderhierarchy:SyncKey<br />

element (section 2.2.3.156.1) value has been incremented in the response, and this value is to be<br />

used in the next FolderSync request (section 2.2.2.4.1), FolderCreate request (section 2.2.2.2.1),<br />

FolderDelete request (section 2.2.2.3.1), or FolderUpdate request (section 2.2.2.5.1).<br />

4.13.4 Emptying Folder Contents by Using the ItemOperations <strong>Command</strong><br />

The following sections show how to empty the contents of a folder by using the ItemOperations<br />

command (section 2.2.2.8).<br />

4.13.4.1 Request<br />

The following example shows an ItemOperations command request (section 2.2.2.8.2) sent from<br />

the client to the server to delete the contents of a folder. The<br />

itemoperations:EmptyFolderContents element (section 2.2.3.52) contains the<br />

airsync:CollectionId element (section 2.2.3.29.2) value that identifies the folder whose contents<br />

are deleted.<br />
