4.10.3 Fetching an E-Mail Item with a LongId
The following sections show how the client retrieves an e-mail message by using the
search:LongId element (section 2.2.3.83.2). The client uses the Search command (section
2.2.2.14) to get the search:LongId value corresponding to the message, and then uses the
itemoperations:Fetch element (section 2.2.3.60.1) with the search:LongId element to retrieve
the message.
4.10.3.1 Search Request
The following example shows the Search command request (section 2.2.2.14.1) sent from the client
to the server to search for e-mails containing the text "Sales Totals".
