provision:Status element indicates whether the server successfully recorded the client's<br />

3.1.5.2 Setting Device Information<br />

This section specifies how the client uses the Settings command (section 2.2.2.16) to set device<br />

information on the server.<br />

Clients SHOULD send settings:DeviceInformation (section 2.2.3.43) parameters to the server as<br />

soon as possible after the client has been provisioned, and before the FolderSync command<br />

(section 2.2.2.4), so that the server can use this information to determine what the device has<br />

access to.<br />

The client sets device information by sending an initial Settings command request to the server<br />

with the settings:Set element (section 2.2.3.142) identifying settings:DeviceInformation<br />

parameters as specified in section 2.2.3.43.<br />
