Consistency in Signage<br />
After a brief survey of existing signage, it became apparent that there is little to<br />
no consistency in the signage style. <strong>The</strong> general look and feel of the sites are very<br />
similar to other (non-<strong>PacifiCorp</strong>) recreational sites along the reservoirs, giving<br />
<strong>PacifiCorp</strong> sites no real identity other than the logo on the entrance sign. In a<br />
few cases, signage is no longer effective given its age, size, or location. Once a<br />
visitor is in the campground or using the boat ramp, the identity is diluted by<br />
signage that looks like generic and nondescript. Consistent signage establishes a<br />
sense of place. It reinforces the <strong>PacifiCorp</strong> presence at the site.<br />
