Yale Park
Day use—fishing, picnicking, swimming, water sports
April 1-through Thursday before Memorial Day, 5 a.m.-9 p.m.,
Friday before Memorial Day through Sept. 30, 5 a.m.-10 p.m.,
Oct. 1-Mar. 31, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
This large, open, day-use facility has 42 picnic tables, restrooms, water, a fourlane
boat ramp, and swimming beaches.
This is the site of an old homestead and orchard. Remnant fruit trees grow
adjacent to the parking lot. A mill once
operated near where the boat launch
ramp is now.
The expansive view of the lake, plus
this site’s popularity as a boat launch,
suggests interpretation of two primary
topics: fish species of the lake and
shoreline recreation and stewardship.
Bull trout conservation information
should be posted here.
interpretive elements: Orientation (FERC)
Welcome (site specific)
Interpretive Exhibits
Water play is popular on the reservoirs.
