CHECK OF OIL LEVEL IN<br />

HYDROSTATIC STEERING TANK<br />

Carry out checks every day before start<br />

of operation, on the tractor standing on a<br />

horizontal surface. Open the bonnet,<br />

screw out the gauge rod, wipe if with a<br />

cloth and screw in. The screw it again<br />

and check the level that shall not be under<br />

the lower gauge mark. Refill oil as<br />

necessary after removal of the tank lid.<br />

REPLACEMENT OF OIL AND HYDRO-<br />

STATIC STEERING FILTRATION<br />

CARTRIDGE<br />

1. Put a suitable container under<br />

the hydrostatic steering tank.<br />

2. Screw out the drain screw in the tank<br />

bottom.<br />

3. Drain oil.<br />

4. Screw out the tank lid nut.<br />

5. Remove hydrostatic steering tank lid.<br />

6. Replace the filtration cartridge.<br />

7. Reinstall the tank lid.<br />

8. Lok its position by the nut.<br />

9. Screw in the drain screw.<br />

10. Disconnect both hoses from the<br />

working cylinder and drain tube<br />

from the tank (put containers<br />

under working cylinder hoses and<br />

under the drain tube).<br />

11. Start the engine and at idle speed<br />

(max. 10 sec) turn the steering wheel<br />

2-3 times to both sides to push off oil<br />

from the control unit and piping.<br />

12. Secure the tractor against any<br />

movement and lift the front axle.<br />

13. Put a container under the<br />

working cylinder and rotate<br />

(manually) wheels to push out<br />

oil from the working cylinder.<br />

14. Reconnect all joints.<br />

15. Fill the tank with oil and bleed the hydrostatic<br />

steering circuit.<br />
