RUNNING-IN THE TRACTOR<br />

GENERAL PRINCIPLES FOR RUNNING-IN A NEW TRACTOR IN THE COURSE<br />

OF FIRST 100 OPERATING HOURS<br />

In the course of first 100 operating hours:<br />

- do not load the engine excessively;<br />

- avoid run with partial load of the engine;<br />

- avoid excessive idle run time;<br />

- check frequently level of oil in the engine (increased consumption of oil within<br />

this period is normal);<br />

- checks screwed joints, in particular supporting parts of the tractor;<br />

- remedy immediately all found faults; this prevents consequent damages and/or<br />

threats to safety of operation;<br />

- follow also the same procedure after overhaul of the tractor<br />

IN THE COURSE OF FIRST 100<br />

OPERATING HOURS<br />

- perform running-in in normal traffic;<br />

- retighten nuts of front and rear wheels<br />

including connection flange/rim by the<br />

prescribed torques.<br />
