In case that some asymmetry of braking<br />

between the left and right brake occurs<br />

after such adjustment, it is necessary to<br />

release the adjustment screw (7) of that<br />

brake that brakes more intensively up to<br />

the moment when braking effects of both<br />

wheels are balanced; however, it is allowed<br />

to release the screw max. by 1/2<br />

of turn. In case that even after this readjustment<br />

the asymmetry of braking continues,<br />

it is necessary to adjust the<br />

brakes of the tractor in an authorised repair<br />

shop.<br />

ADJUSTMENT OF HAND BRAKE<br />

1. Adjust the lever (4) so that the distance<br />

between the bracket (K) and<br />

face of the fork on the lever (4) is<br />

109mm (the lever (4) should form an<br />

angle 20° with vertical plane).<br />

2. Screw in the nut (2) onto the contact<br />

surface of the pin (3) without any play<br />

and pre-stress – the arms (5) shall not<br />

be squeezed.<br />

3. The adjustment procedure is identical<br />

for the right and left sides of the tractor.<br />

4. Using the nuts (8) adjust the hand<br />

brake lever Bowden so that at angle<br />

20° on the lever (4) the hand brake<br />

lever is without any play.<br />

5. Lift and lower the hand brake lever (1)<br />

several times to eliminated any possible<br />

plays between the components.<br />

ADJUSTMENTS<br />

6. Check adjustment of the hand brake<br />

system and if necessary, correct the<br />

adjustment and check tightening of all<br />

locking nuts (6), (8).<br />

In case that some asymmetry of hand<br />

brake effect between the left and right<br />

brake occurs after such adjustment, it is<br />

necessary to release the adjustment nut<br />

(2) of that brake that brakes more intensively<br />

up to the moment when braking effects<br />

of both wheels are balanced; however,<br />

it is allowed to release the nut (2)<br />

by 1.5 of turn. In case that even after this<br />

readjustment the asymmetry of braking<br />

continues, it is necessary to adjust the<br />

brakes of the tractor in an authorised repair<br />

shop.<br />

Note: Adjustment holes are on the floor<br />

of the tractor cabin to facilitate adjustment<br />

of the brakes.<br />

ADJUSTMENT OF FREE TRAVEL OF<br />

BRAKE PEDALS<br />

Correct play between the piston rod of<br />

brake pedal and the piston of main brake<br />

valve is 0,5-1,0 mm (3 - 6 mm when<br />

measured at the edge of the brake pedals<br />

at unlatched pedals). Adjust the play<br />

at unlatched pedals and after releasing<br />

of the adjusting nut (1), in which the piston<br />

rod is screwed.
