Designed for a variety of dc <strong>and</strong><br />
stepper motors, kits include mounting<br />
bracket, spacers <strong>and</strong> mounting<br />
bolts.<br />
Shaft couplers are not included—see<br />
pages 99-102 for available selections.<br />
GEARHEAD REDUCTION<br />
Used in applications requiring<br />
reduction for inertia matching or<br />
higher torque at lower speeds.<br />
REVERSE-PARALLEL<br />
MOUNTING<br />
When overall length is a design constraint,<br />
these st<strong>and</strong>ard factoryassembled<br />
configurations allow offset<br />
mounting of the motor to either<br />
side of, or below the actuator. The<br />
options are available on BCS, MCS,<br />
B3S, <strong>and</strong> M3S screw drive cylinderstyle<br />
actuators. They can be selected<br />
with appropriately rated <strong>Tol</strong>-O-<br />
<strong>Matic</strong> motors <strong>and</strong> with 1:1 or 2:1<br />
drive ratio. Reverse-parallel units use<br />
a rugged toothed belt for quiet, zerobacklash<br />
coupling of the motor to<br />
the actuator screw shaft. The 2:1<br />
reduction provides further options in<br />
motor selection for torque, speed<br />
<strong>and</strong> inertia match considerations.<br />
