He also advises us about <strong>the</strong> communion of love as we<br />

partake of <strong>the</strong> mystery of <strong>the</strong> body and blood of Christ,<br />

saying, "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not <strong>the</strong><br />

communion of <strong>the</strong> blood of Christ The bread which we<br />

break, is it not <strong>the</strong> communion of <strong>the</strong> blood of Christ For<br />

we, being many, are one bread and one body for we<br />

partake of <strong>the</strong> one bread" (1 Corinthians 10:16-17). He also<br />

advises us saying, "Endeavouring <strong>to</strong> keep <strong>the</strong> unity of <strong>the</strong><br />

spirit in <strong>the</strong> bond of peace. There is one body and one<br />

spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling"<br />

(Ephesians 4:3-4).<br />

Also <strong>the</strong> church prays for <strong>the</strong> unity of love saying, "May <strong>the</strong><br />

unity of heart and love abide in us.”<br />

In <strong>the</strong> Prayer of Submission, which is said after <strong>the</strong> Fraction,<br />

<strong>the</strong> priest says: "We ask and entreat Your goodness O lover<br />

of mankind, that since You have purified us and united us<br />

with Yourself through our partaking of Your divine<br />

mysteries…"<br />

If we unite with God, <strong>the</strong>n we unite with each o<strong>the</strong>r in<br />

perfect bro<strong>the</strong>rly love.<br />

V The good share in <strong>the</strong> eternal life: "And find a share<br />

and inheritance with all <strong>the</strong> saints who have pleased<br />

You since <strong>the</strong> beginning."<br />

Worthy Eucharist protects us against <strong>the</strong> dominion of<br />

darkness, gives us vic<strong>to</strong>ry over hosts of evil so we win<br />

eternal life and become, "qualified <strong>to</strong> be partakers in <strong>the</strong><br />

inheritance of <strong>the</strong> saints in <strong>the</strong> light" (Colossians 1:12).<br />

And we live forever in <strong>the</strong> company of <strong>the</strong> saints who, "Are<br />
