<strong>the</strong> Morning Prayer. We say two complete Troparia <strong>from</strong><br />
those of <strong>the</strong> Morning Prayer and we also pray <strong>the</strong> following :<br />
"Have mercy upon us according <strong>to</strong> Your will forever. The<br />
night had passed away, we thank You O Lord and ask You<br />
<strong>to</strong> keep us this day without sin and deliver us."<br />
V In this dawn, facilitate our inner and outer ways by Your<br />
joyful protection.<br />
V By your peace, O Christ Our God, You passed us<br />
through <strong>the</strong> night and brought us <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> beginning of this<br />
day because we trusted You.<br />
V What is good and what is beautiful except bro<strong>the</strong>rs<br />
dwelling <strong>to</strong>ge<strong>the</strong>r in unity.<br />
V Agreed in true evangelical love like <strong>the</strong> Apostles.<br />
V Like <strong>the</strong> precious oil on <strong>the</strong> Head of Christ, running<br />
down on <strong>the</strong> beard, running down on <strong>the</strong> edge of His<br />
garments and feet.<br />
V Those whom <strong>the</strong> <strong>Holy</strong> Spirit united <strong>to</strong>ge<strong>the</strong>r, like a<br />
violin, praising God at all times.<br />
Why don't you meditate on all <strong>the</strong>se meanings, my beloved,<br />
while you pray <strong>the</strong> Morning Prayer, and sing <strong>the</strong> wonderful<br />
morning Doxology which lifts you spiritually up <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
heavens.<br />
After completing <strong>the</strong> morning Doxology, <strong>the</strong> priest begins<br />
<strong>the</strong> raising of <strong>the</strong> morning incense, which resembles <strong>the</strong><br />
evening incense, except for minor differences, for example :<br />
