THE THREE GREAT LITANIES<br />
After <strong>the</strong> sermon, <strong>the</strong> priest starts praying <strong>the</strong> three major<br />
litanies: of Peace, <strong>the</strong> Fa<strong>the</strong>rs and <strong>the</strong> Ga<strong>the</strong>rings. These<br />
litanies are full of strong pleadings, for <strong>the</strong> safety of <strong>the</strong><br />
Church and <strong>the</strong> whole world, for protecting <strong>the</strong> Church's<br />
fa<strong>the</strong>rs, and for <strong>the</strong> ga<strong>the</strong>rings of <strong>the</strong> church, so that <strong>the</strong>y<br />
may be conducted without any obstacles <strong>from</strong> <strong>the</strong> Church's<br />
enemies or devils, or <strong>the</strong> inner diversions and bad counsels.<br />

litanies of <strong>the</strong> Vesper and Matin incense, as explained before.<br />
Then repeat with <strong>the</strong> congregation <strong>the</strong> universal prayer,<br />
"Lord have mercy" in enthusiasm believing and asking <strong>the</strong><br />
Lord <strong>to</strong> respond <strong>to</strong> all <strong>the</strong> pleadings of <strong>the</strong> priest, said during<br />
<strong>the</strong>se litanies.<br />
THE LITURGY OF THE BELIEVERS<br />
This is <strong>the</strong> most important part of <strong>the</strong> Mass. It is considered<br />
<strong>the</strong> holiest of <strong>the</strong> holy, for which we prepare <strong>from</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
evening Vespers in order <strong>to</strong> make us worthy <strong>to</strong> be prepared<br />
physically, psychologically and spiritually, so that we may<br />
benefit and feel consoled.<br />
The <strong>Liturgy</strong> of <strong>the</strong> Believers begins with <strong>the</strong> ORTHODOX<br />
CREED recited by <strong>the</strong> whole church, audibly and in one<br />
voice, in a powerful and effective manner. Reciting <strong>the</strong><br />
