Clean<strong>in</strong>g and care<br />
Avoid the follow<strong>in</strong>g on all types of front:<br />
– clean<strong>in</strong>g agents conta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g soda, acids or<br />
chlorides,<br />
– abrasive clean<strong>in</strong>g agents, e.g. powder cleaners<br />
and cream cleaners.<br />
– abrasive sponges, e.g. pot scourers, or sponges<br />
which have been previously used with abrasive<br />
clean<strong>in</strong>g agents.<br />
To prevent the risk of scratches and damage to<br />
the surface structure of sta<strong>in</strong>less steel and<br />
alum<strong>in</strong>ium fronted mach<strong>in</strong>es pay particular<br />
attention to the follow<strong>in</strong>g clean<strong>in</strong>g <strong><strong>in</strong>structions</strong>.<br />
Sta<strong>in</strong>less steel fronted mach<strong>in</strong>es<br />
The mach<strong>in</strong>e front and controls are susceptible to<br />
scratches and abrasion.<br />
Please observe the different clean<strong>in</strong>g <strong><strong>in</strong>structions</strong> for<br />
- sta<strong>in</strong>less steel surfaces and<br />
- sta<strong>in</strong>less steel coloured controls<br />
Sta<strong>in</strong>less steel surfaces<br />
Sta<strong>in</strong>less steel surfaces can be cleaned us<strong>in</strong>g a<br />
proprietary non-abrasive clean<strong>in</strong>g agent designed<br />
specifically for use on sta<strong>in</strong>less steel, or with the<br />
<strong>Miele</strong> E-Cloth.<br />
When descal<strong>in</strong>g the mach<strong>in</strong>e wipe up any spillages<br />
of descal<strong>in</strong>g agent immediately!<br />
To help prevent re-soil<strong>in</strong>g, a proprietary<br />
condition<strong>in</strong>g agent for sta<strong>in</strong>less steel can<br />
also be used. Apply spar<strong>in</strong>gly with an<br />
even pressure <strong>in</strong> the direction of the "gra<strong>in</strong>".<br />
