strict accordance with national and local safety<br />
regulations.<br />
Installation, repairs and other work by unqualified<br />
persons could be dangerous. The manufacturer<br />
cannot be held liable for unauthorised work.<br />
Ensure power is not supplied to the appliance until<br />
after <strong>in</strong>stallation work has been carried out.<br />
The voltage and connected load are given on the<br />
data plate. Please ensure these match the<br />
household ma<strong>in</strong>s supply. The fuse rat<strong>in</strong>g is quoted<br />
on the plug.<br />
The appliance is supplied with a ma<strong>in</strong>s cable with<br />
moulded plug for connection to a 230 - 240 V ma<strong>in</strong>s<br />
supply.<br />
Connection should be made via a fused plug and<br />
suitable switched socket which is easily accessible<br />
after <strong>in</strong>stallation.<br />
Do not connect via an extension lead.<br />
For extra safety it is advisable to <strong>in</strong>stall a residual<br />
current device (RCD), with a trip current of 30 mA (<strong>in</strong><br />
accordance with DIN VDE 0664, VDE 0100, Section<br />
739).<br />
If the socket is not accessible after <strong>in</strong>stallation<br />
(depend<strong>in</strong>g on country) an additional means of<br />
disconnection must be provided for all poles.<br />
