Problem solv<strong>in</strong>g<br />

^ Disconnect the mach<strong>in</strong>e from the ma<strong>in</strong>s. Switch<br />

off at the wall and withdraw the plug from the<br />

socket, or disconnect the ma<strong>in</strong>s fuse or remove<br />

the screw-out fuse <strong>in</strong> countries where this is<br />

applicable.<br />

^ Open the front of the mach<strong>in</strong>e.<br />

^ Insert a small screwdriver <strong>in</strong> the open<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

carefully push it upwards a.<br />

^ Flip the lamp cover forwards and downwards b.<br />

^ Rotate the lamp forwards a and carefully pull it<br />

out b.<br />

^ Replace with a 4 Watt fluorescent tube.<br />

^ Carefully push the tube <strong>in</strong>to position until it clicks<br />

<strong>in</strong>to the holder a, and rotate it upwards b.<br />

^ Close the lamp cover.<br />

. . . no water comes out of the steam spout<br />

If the steam spout is blocked<br />

^ Carefully push a short, th<strong>in</strong> skewer <strong>in</strong>to the<br />

open<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

. . . the <strong>coffee</strong> gr<strong>in</strong>der makes a louder noise than<br />

usual.<br />

There could be stones <strong>in</strong> among the <strong>coffee</strong> beans.<br />

^ Switch the mach<strong>in</strong>e off immediately.<br />
