Clean<strong>in</strong>g and care<br />

^ Place a conta<strong>in</strong>er, m<strong>in</strong>imum capacity 0.75 litres,<br />

under both <strong>coffee</strong> spouts.<br />

^ Press the r<strong>in</strong>s<strong>in</strong>g and pre-warm<strong>in</strong>g button e.<br />

(The mach<strong>in</strong>e must be operational and heated up,<br />

otherwise it will not react when the buttons are<br />

pressed.)<br />

The follow<strong>in</strong>g will appear <strong>in</strong> the display:<br />

^ Press the e button to highlight programm<strong>in</strong>g<br />

option "R<strong>in</strong>s<strong>in</strong>g cycle" with an asterisk.<br />

^ Press ENTER.<br />

The follow<strong>in</strong>g will appear <strong>in</strong> the display:<br />

A small amount of water will run out of the spouts,<br />

then a small pause before request<strong>in</strong>g the next<br />

amount of water. This procedure is carried out 4<br />

times. On the last r<strong>in</strong>se about half a litre of water<br />

runs out. The whole procedure takes approx. 5<br />

m<strong>in</strong>utes.<br />

^ At the end of the r<strong>in</strong>s<strong>in</strong>g cycle, the follow<strong>in</strong>g will<br />

appear <strong>in</strong> the display:<br />

The brew unit has now been cleaned of<br />

all residues and clean<strong>in</strong>g agents. Check<br />

that the jo<strong>in</strong>ts of the brew unit are still<br />

sufficiently lubricated.<br />
