Blended ARPU decreased by 11.0% in <strong>2011</strong>, as<br />
a result of the economic situation and a highly<br />
competitive market.<br />
By the end of <strong>2011</strong>, total fixed access mainlines<br />
were 12.0% lower at 1,074,000. The decline was<br />
accelerated by the regulatory introduction of new<br />
wholesale products and was in line with the market<br />
trend of fixed to mobile and IP substitution. However,<br />
the Group maintained its competitiveness with<br />
attractive promotional offers and excellent service.<br />
Fixed telephony users generated 2,083 million<br />
minutes in <strong>2011</strong>. That was 10.2% lower than<br />
the previous year and reflects the impact of fixed<br />
substitution by mobile and IP traffic.<br />

Major achievements in <strong>2011</strong><br />
HT had 454,000 postpaid business subscribers by<br />
the end of <strong>2011</strong>, marking a 4.4% increase in the<br />
customer base. Minutes of use (MOU) per average<br />
subscriber were down 5.0%, as a result of the<br />
economic downturn. That pushed blended ARPU<br />
down 8.9% compared with 2010. Mobile data grew in<br />
line with general mobile market trends.<br />
Business Review <strong>2011</strong><br />
Fixed voice ARPA decreased by 5.7%, as a result of<br />
general market trends outlined above.<br />
By the end of <strong>2011</strong>, the number of ADSL mainlines<br />
increased to 539,000, up 2.9%. At the same time,<br />
ADSL mainline ARPU fell 3.1%.<br />
The TV customer base showed strong growth. By the<br />
end of <strong>2011</strong>, T-HT had 321,000 TV customers, an<br />
increase of 12.3%.<br />
Satellite TV, an extension of the IPTV service,<br />
continues to grow after being repositioned and<br />
repriced in Q1 <strong>2011</strong>, offering more value for the<br />
customers.<br />

At the beginning of <strong>2011</strong>, HT launched a mobile<br />
acquisition and retention campaign for all new and<br />
existing customers signing 24 months contracts.<br />
New Flex Biz tariffs, Mobile START and Mobile PLUS<br />
tariffs for SMEs were launched allowing customers<br />
to choose tariff package with a HRK 200 or HRK 600<br />
monthly fee, allowing unlimited calls between two to<br />
eight team members.<br />
The mobile data usage FlexBIZ option “Internet za<br />
Tim” was launched, introducing one traffic bundle to<br />
be used by the whole team.<br />
In September, the VPN Private bill service was<br />
launched.<br />
Other services available to T-Mobile customers<br />
include the revamped Applicentar product, as well as<br />
FormIt and Momentem.<br />
HT also launched online book store Planet 9, service<br />
Spremalica providing free 10 GB bandwidth, and the<br />
HotHot geo-marketing application.<br />
T-HT’s business fixed line customers declined 11.4%<br />
due to fixed to mobile and IP substitution, regulatory<br />
decisions, increased competition and economic<br />
recession.<br />
Fixed telephony business users consumed 706<br />
million minutes, down 17.5% on the previous year.
