Corporate Responsibility<br />
Management career development<br />
In <strong>2011</strong>, the management development initiative<br />
was based around mutual sharing of knowledge and<br />
experience. Programs were created with the aim of<br />
increasing manager competencies by learning from<br />
colleagues. Managers participated in the “Closer to the<br />
Customer” program, which included training at points<br />
of sale, call centers or field visits with technicians.<br />
They were also provided with opportunities to improve<br />
management skills through experience sharing<br />
sessions, facilitated by a professional coach.<br />
Project management career development<br />
With the need for high quality project management<br />
paramount, T-HT introduced a career structure for<br />
project managers, giving access to wider range of<br />
career development opportunities. Employees who<br />
opted for this career path have been given clearly<br />
defined progress and development criteria, as well as<br />
opportunities for acquiring highly regarded project<br />
management qualifications.<br />
Knowledge on Thursdays<br />
The Group continued its “Knowledge on Thursdays”<br />
lectures throughout <strong>2011</strong>. Experts from varying parts<br />
of the business shared knowledge and experience<br />
with colleagues on topics including the network,<br />
new technologies, products and services, energy<br />
consumption, customer satisfaction, legal issues, data<br />
protection and security and business compliance.<br />
Additional employee benefits<br />
HT provides a range of benefits aimed at promoting<br />
health and wellbeing, including a free annual medical<br />
check-up and the opportunity to participate in a<br />
range of cultural and sports activities funded by the<br />
Company. The Company also offers incentives to join<br />
