Business Review <strong>2011</strong><br />
As result of lower usage, ARPA decreased 10.0% to<br />
HRK 238.<br />
The ADSL subscriber base is growing as a result<br />
of attractive and constant retention and acquisition<br />
campaigns, reaching 112,000 business users, an<br />
increase of 6.0%. ARPA decreased 2.5% to HRK 134.<br />
The TV subscriber base has grown 12.4% to 19,000<br />
customers as result of continuous improvements in<br />
services and programming. A range of promotional<br />
offers were available to both new and existing TV<br />
users.<br />
The Hotel TV service was launched in March.<br />
Offers around Christmas gave 50% off the monthly<br />
subscription fee for 12 months along with a free<br />
package of the subscriber’s choice (Sportski paket<br />
plus, HBO or Snimalica 10) for six months when<br />
signing up for 24 months.<br />
The IP fixed line customer base increased 5.1%.<br />
The VPN customer base increased 10.0%. T-HT<br />
constantly promotes the migration of existing<br />
traditional data customers to IP-based products.<br />
The number of data lines fell 6.7% with traditional<br />
data lines decreasing, whilst Metro Ethernet service is<br />
growing.<br />
Beside regular telecommunications services, T-HT<br />
built an ICT portfolio in <strong>2011</strong>. At the start of the year,<br />
a Virtual Private Server service was launched and the<br />
Desktop Management product followed shortly after.<br />
The most important projects developed by tportal’s<br />
editorial, creative and web-design team in <strong>2011</strong><br />
include the following:<br />
- http://prvaliga.tportal.hr/, a central information<br />
point regarding the national football league<br />
sponsored by <strong>Hrvatski</strong> <strong>Telekom</strong>. The site carries<br />
exclusive footage of goals and match highlights.<br />
It has attracted more than 100,000 unique visitors<br />
since its launch;<br />
- http://izbori<strong>2011</strong>.tportal.hr/, a specialized portal for<br />
parliamentary elections in Croatia, with analysis,<br />
comment, in-depth event coverage as well as<br />
photo and video content;<br />
- live streaming of several important events such<br />
as the T-Mobile INmusic festival, Zagreb Pride,<br />
election night highlights and a number of debates.<br />
By the end of the year, tportal’s Facebook page<br />
had acquired over 150,000 fans, which provided<br />
additional credibility to the portal’s positioning in<br />
social networks.<br />
In addition, tportal traditionally organizes the roman@<br />
tportal.hr award, a competition for the best Croatian<br />
novel.<br />
Tportal’s editorial, design and development team<br />
continued to improve the presentation of its services<br />
across a range of platforms. Content is available<br />
through mobile devices, SMS alerts and the T-Mobile<br />
WAP portal, along with social networks like Facebook<br />
and Twitter. In addition, T-Mobile iPhone users get a<br />
customized interface when browsing tportal.<br />
Wholesale<br />
In July, Virtual Desktops — tCloud were launched<br />
and at the end of September, the first two modules<br />
of Software as a Service products were introduced —<br />
tCloud Human Resources and tCloud ERP.<br />
tportal.hr<br />
In <strong>2011</strong>, tportal.hr continuously ranked among the<br />
top three web portals in Croatia according to reach,<br />
with more than 800,000 unique visitors per month<br />
according to Gemius, an independent internet traffic<br />
research agency.<br />
Domestic wholesale market<br />
During <strong>2011</strong>, ULL market continued to grow with the<br />
gross additions of 15,500 new ULL lines. Operators<br />
were still highly focused on a fully unbundled local<br />
loop which provides a more attractive broadband<br />
services option, while the number of shared accesses<br />
is declining and is expected to disappear.<br />
