They must be enabled to understand and manage and control the exposure of their private and sensitive data. This also includes legislation ensuring individual privacy rights with respect to what kind of surveillance and information the authorities can employ and access. Non-Repudiation Things and IoT devices that have provided information or services need to be traceable and, in mission critical cases there may need to be means to detect the legal entity responsible for a thing.
