If needed, on the occasion of the Game of the Week the<br />

Company might change these positions.<br />

Any other position must be approved by the Company.<br />

45.3. On the same side as the scorer’s table, opposite the main TV<br />

cameras, there will be a marked area for the benches or chairs<br />

of the two teams. This area will be defined by a line of at least<br />

2m in length traced as an extension of the endline and by<br />

another line 2m in length, traced 5m from the centre line and<br />

perpendicular to the sideline. The lines marking this area must<br />

be white, the same as those marking the playing area.<br />

Located within these areas, in a symmetrical form, will be the<br />

chairs or benches with a backrest to be used by the teams, with<br />

a length of 9m. Each team bench will have a maximum of 19<br />

seats.<br />

A retractable belt barrier will be installed adjacent to the team<br />

bench area to separate those team members that are on the<br />

scoresheet from those that are not.<br />

Without detriment to the indications of Article 42.2, the team<br />

benches must be located at a minimum distance of 2m from the<br />

spectators. Should this requirement fail to be observed, behind<br />

each bench there must be a transparent protective wall installed<br />

at a minimum height of 2m. If the circumstances should so<br />

require, the Company might request that the clubs install the<br />

protective wall behind the benches regardless of the distances in<br />

the arena.<br />

45.4. The use of TV monitoring and/or replay equipment, computers<br />

(other than for statistics) or any electronic transmission device<br />

for coaching purposes during the game in and around the team<br />

bench area will not be permitted.<br />

Article 46.<br />

Electronic Equipment<br />

The arena must have the following electronic equipment, which<br />

will be clearly visible from the scorer’s table, from the playing<br />

area, from the team benches and for any other person involved<br />

in the game including the spectators.<br />

46.1. Scoreboards<br />

A huge centre-hung scoreboard with synchronised displays<br />

clearly visible on all four sides. It will contain a digital<br />
