Each group will play in a round-robin format (each team against
all the others both home and away).
20.2.3. Regular Season Standings
20.3. Top 16
After each game day and at the end of the Regular Season, a
standing will be established in each group based on the number
of games won by each team, with ties being resolved according
to what is provided in Article 21.
At the end of the Regular Season, the top four teams from each
group will move on to the Top 16. The rest of the teams will
participate in the Eurocup competition in compliance with the
Eurocup Regulations.
20.3.1. System of Play
The 16 qualified teams will be divided into two groups (E, F) of
eight teams each. The teams will be placed in their respective
groups in the following manner:
Group E:
1 st place Group A, 2 nd place Group B, 3 rd place Group C, 4 th place
Group D, 1 st place Group C, 2 nd place Group D, 3 rd place Group A
and 4 th place Group B.
Group F:
1 st place Group B, 2 nd place Group C, 3 rd place Group D, 4 th place
Group A, 1 st place Group D, 2 nd place Group A, 3 rd place Group B
and 4 th place Group C.
Each group will play in a round-robin format (each team against
all the others both home and away). The Top 16 calendar
(match-ups) will be determined through a random computer
draw.
20.3.2. Top 16 Standings
After each game day and at the end of the Top 16, a standing in
each group will be established according to the same criteria as
in the Regular Season.
