the General Assembly (subject to the subsequent ratification<br />

thereof), and exercises any further functions conferred on it<br />

by the General Assembly.<br />

i) “EP” is the limited liability company <strong>Euroleague</strong> Properties<br />

S.A., or any of its relevant permitted successors or<br />

assignees, controlled by ECA, responsible for managing and<br />

organising the <strong>Euroleague</strong> and the Eurocup, as well as for<br />

commercialising their properties.<br />

j) “Companies” refers to ECA and EP jointly, or any of their<br />

respective permitted successors or assignees.<br />

k) “Representatives” refers to the individual persons<br />

empowered to represent the Clubs or Leagues.<br />

l) “Bylaws” refers to the set of rules formed by the <strong>Euroleague</strong><br />

Club Licensing Rules, <strong>Euroleague</strong> Regulations, agreements,<br />

resolutions and contracts approved by the competent<br />

governing bodies whose aim is to regulate the <strong>Euroleague</strong>.<br />

m) “Domestic Championship” refers to the main competition of<br />

a League, from beginning to end, including the Regular<br />

Season, and if any, the Playoffs and/or Final Four.<br />

n) “Domestic Competitions” refers to all official competitions of<br />

a League.<br />

o) “Licence Contract” is the document signed by each Club and<br />

EP, whereby the Club accepts and adheres to the Bylaws,<br />

and agrees and commits itself to fulfil each and every rule<br />

appearing in the aforementioned Bylaws and its<br />

modifications, amendments and appendices thereto. In<br />

addition, the Licence Contract is the document whereby the<br />

rights and obligations that both parties assume for<br />

participating in the <strong>Euroleague</strong> are established.<br />

p) “Club Ranking” is an evaluation system among all clubs<br />

participating in European competitions. This Club Ranking<br />

will take into account the performance of teams in European<br />

competitions during a three-year period. Each club will get 2<br />

points for a win and 1 point for a tie or loss from the Regular<br />

Season onwards. 2 bonus points are allocated for reaching<br />

the last 16, 2 bonus points are allocated for reaching the last<br />

8, 1 bonus point is allocated for reaching the last 4, and 1<br />

bonus point is allocated for reaching the Final. The Club<br />

Ranking consists of the sum of the club coefficients from the<br />

last three years.<br />
