STANDARD PLAYER CONTRACT<br />

This Contract is made this ……….. day of ……….. 20…… by and between:<br />

[address] …………… and participating or willing to participate in the<br />

<strong>Euroleague</strong> competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Club”);<br />

AND<br />

........[player’s full name]…………, domiciled at ...........[address].......<br />

(hereinafter referred to as the “Player”)<br />

hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Parties” and severally as the “Party”,<br />

who hereby agree and stipulate as follows:<br />

1. Contract and Definitions<br />

1.1. This Contract respects and may not be contrary to the <strong>Euroleague</strong><br />

Bylaws, and all other rules, regulations and resolutions thereof as<br />

they presently exist or as they may be amended or modified from<br />

time to time.<br />

1.2. In this Contract, including the exhibits if any, the following terms<br />

have the meanings specified below:<br />

“<strong>Euroleague</strong> <strong>Basketball</strong>” means the basketball competitions named<br />

“<strong>Euroleague</strong>” and “Eurocup”, as well as the organisation controlling<br />

and managing them;<br />

“National League” means the national or multinational association of<br />

elite basketball clubs to which the Club is affiliated;<br />

“National Federation” means the national basketball federation to<br />

which the Club is affiliated;<br />

“Anti-Doping Authority” means <strong>Euroleague</strong> <strong>Basketball</strong> and any other<br />

national or international organisation or body responsible for<br />

adopting, implementing or enforcing anti-doping rules and sanctions<br />

within its authority, such as the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA),<br />

the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International<br />

<strong>Basketball</strong> Federation (FIBA), the National Federation, and the<br />

National League;<br />
