parties concerned therein will be notified to them in the shortest possible<br />

time.<br />

Notifications must contain the whole text of the ruling with the indication of<br />

whether or not it is final, a description of possible arguments in defence or<br />

appeals, the body to which it would be necessary to present them, and the<br />

corresponding deadline.<br />

Article 53.<br />

If there were exceptional circumstances in the course of a disciplinary<br />

proceeding, the disciplinary bodies may decide to extend the times<br />

established.<br />

Article 54.<br />

All protests, complaints, requests, arguments in defence or allegations<br />

presented to the Disciplinary Judge must be resolved expressly within a<br />

period of no more than seven days from the moment they were submitted,<br />

after which they will be considered dismissed.<br />

Article 55.<br />

Once the disciplinary proceeding has been initiated and at any time therein,<br />

the disciplinary body empowered to commence it may adopt the provisional<br />

or conservatory measures it deems appropriate, in order to maintain the<br />

orderly legal procedures and to ensure the effectiveness of the ruling that<br />

will be issued. The disciplinary body is not obliged to hear the parties.<br />

A provisional or conservatory measure can apply for up to 30 days and its<br />

duration will be deducted from the final disciplinary sanction. The<br />

disciplinary body may, exceptionally, extend the validity period of a<br />

provisional or conservatory measure for up to 10 days.<br />

Article 56.<br />

1. The costs of the proceedings filed with the Disciplinary Judge will<br />

generally be the responsibility of EP, except for the proceedings initiated<br />

at the request of the party concerned. If it is the latter case, the fee for<br />

the right to protest or file a complaint may be deducted from the costs<br />

of the proceedings or even refunded.<br />
