50.5. The arena must have an audiovisual control room to replay<br />

music from a digital format, to include at least one computer<br />

that will have the memory and speed to support extensive audio<br />

files, as well as a cart machine to play additional audio files.<br />

50.6. Depending on the quality of the permanent audio system, the<br />

Company may request the club to supply an ancillary audio<br />

system for purposes of the on-court entertainment during pregame,<br />

intervals of play between periods and half-time<br />

ceremonies and shows.<br />

Article 51.<br />

Game Operations<br />

The club will have a sufficient number of staff members who are<br />

experienced in the area of game operations. They will work in<br />

order to guarantee the smooth running of the entire event.<br />

Article 52.<br />

Lighting<br />

52.1. The arena will meet the following lighting requirements:<br />

The horizontal illumination on the playing court, measured<br />

1m above the floor, will be an average maintained lux level<br />

of 2,500. Illumination measured facing the main and<br />

reverse angle cameras will be an average maintained lux<br />

level of 1,500.<br />

Illumination measured facing the endline cameras will be<br />

an average maintained lux level of 1,000. This illumination<br />

level must be consistent for the first 15 rows of spectator<br />

seats.<br />

The illumination may gradually decrease above row 15, but<br />

no less than 50% at row 25. The minimum value should<br />

never be below one third of the maximum value.<br />

Full arena lighting must be provided beginning 90 minutes<br />

prior to each game and must be maintained until 30<br />

minutes following the end of the game.<br />

During team practices the illumination will be the same as<br />

during games.<br />

52.2. Lighting must be specifically focused for basketball, based on<br />

the configuration and placement of the playing court.<br />
