> Hydrochloric Limestone Removal Product
CALEX CFF
Description: Product for removing limestone with rapid effects, contains hydrochloric acid and corrosion inhibitory elements.
Concentrated in acid allows rapid limestone dissolving, like carbonates and sulphates.
The inhibitory elements are dosed to protect iron, cast iron, copper. Exceptions are stainless steel, aluminium and
zinc during the limestone removal time .
After each operation a neutralisation must follow .
Laboratory analyses: - 0,5 l CALEX CFF + 0,5 l water can dissolve 180 g limestone in 30 minutes.
- 0,3 l CALEX CFF + 0,7 l water can dissolve 80 g limestone in 30 minutes.
Theorethical data that can vary according to the limestone scale .
Observation: A dissolving solution under 100 g/l acid is considered ineffective in a specific time
period.
Physical und chemical properties: - fluid on hydrochloric acid basis
- colour: light yellow
- pH-value: acid
- can be diluted with water in any ratio.
Usage mode: Applied with the help of a TUBNET pump.
- No application on stainless steel and aluminium .
- CALEX CFF is to be used only diluted, the percent will be determined according to the limestone removal
operation .
- CALEX CFF rapidly dissolves limestone. The dissolution gas must be evacuated from the pipes and the room.
Recommendation: After the CALEX CFF limestone removal operation a neutralising operation is necessary.

METALNET
Description: Product for limestone removal, with rapid effect, contains hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid and surfactants and
antifoam corrosion inhibitory agents .
METALNET is an efficient product through its concentration enables limestone removal and antioxydation effect .
It rapidly dissolves limestone and oxides and stopps the gas emulsification.
After each operation a neutralisation must follow.
It does not attack metals: iron, cast iron, copper. Exceptions are stainless steel, aluminium and zinc.
Laboratory analyses: - 0,5 l METALNET + 0,5 l water can dissolve 160 g limestone in 20 minutes.
- 0,3 l METALNET + 0,7 l water can dissolve 120 g limestone in 20 minutes.
