Description:
The DB Kit consists of 3 products:
- 5 l DESOX
- 2 l neutraliser
- 2 l corrosion inhibitory agent
In order to treat an installation with KIT DB depending on water
quantity one must only inject the products according to their
instructions.
Preliminary condition:
Before treatment any installation must be checked for deaeration system and for functionating valves.
The total state of the installation must also be controlled in order to evaluate the leaking risks, but also to
check internal and external pipe corrosion (when passing through walls and floors), radiators (environmental
humidity), zones with bad circuit (also obstructions), tap or valve blocking, etc.
Important:
The treatment removes incrustation and suspending oxides and carbonates .
The used products protect installation elements but water loss when removing mud by chemical treatment
must be taken into account.
Application mode:
1. Complete evacuation of pipes
2. Filling and introducing 5 l DESOX 80 for 100 l water.
3. Checking if the product circulates through the installation by measuring the pH-value during the
conditioning, must be about 1 for all radiators and fans.
4. The installation must function for 48 hours.
5. Check if the installation functions in all points.
6. Complete evacuation of pipes after minimum 48 hours.
7. Rinse the installation with cold water and manipulate the radiators’ taps in turn in order to obtain a
preferred circuit and check the pH-value that must be around the neutralisation value (6-7).
8. Refill the installation with 2 l neutraliser for 100 l water. Check the circuit. Check the pH-value, must be
higher than 10. The solution must circulate for one hour at heat or cold.
9. Evacuate and rinse (see No.7) until clean water flows and the pH-value becomes neutral.
10. Refill and introduce 2 l protective corrosion inhibitory agent (Ref. Hydrochauff 920) that must remain in
the installation. The control is done through the pH-value.
In order to easily introduce the product use our manual injector.
For a 60 – 100 l installation : one KIT DB
For a 100 – 200 l installation : two KIT DB.
