DESOXIDISING AND MUD REMOVAL PRODUCTS
> Desoxidising, Scale and Mud Removing Products on Organic Acid
Basis
DESOX 80
Description: DESOX 80 is solution containing citric acid, sulpha and glycol acids. Through its composition it dissolves carbonates and oxides.
It allows the dissolution of limestone and oxide scale. The product has rapid action and assures a complete cleaning of the pipes. It
does not attack metals of which pipes are made.
Physical and chemical properties: - light yellow fluid. - pH-value: 4 – 5. - stable up to 95ºC.
Usage mode: DESOX 80 can be used in 2 modes:
- by injection and circulation with the help of a pump
- by constraint circuit with the help of a TUBNET pump
Dosage: 5 – 10 % depending on the level of impurities of the installation, heating possibility and circulation time. In a very soiled
installation the product must circulate twice.
Preliminary condition: Before treatment any installation must be checked for deaeration system and for functionating valves.
The total state of the installation must also be controlled in order to evaluate the leaking risks, but also to check
internal and external pipe corrosion (when passing through walls and floors ), radiators (environmental humidity),
zones with bad circuit (also obstructions), tap or valve blocking, etc.
Important: The treatment removes incrustation and suspending oxides and carbonates .
The used products protect installation elements but water loss when removing mud by chemical treatment must be taken into
account.
1. Complete evacuation and removal of suspending residue
2. Checking if the product circulates through the installation by measuring the pH-value during the conditioning, must be about 1
for all radiators and fans.
3. Functioning in 4 to 48 hours.
4. Check if heating is done equal in all pipes.
5. Total evacuation of installation.
6. Rinse the installation with cold water and manipulate the radiators’ taps in turn in order to obtain a preferred circuit and check the
pH-value that must be around the neutralisation value (6-7).
7. Refill the installation and introduce the neutraliser. Check the pH-value, must be higher than 10. The solution must circulate for
one hour.
8. Evacuate and rinse until clean water flows and the pH-value becomes neutral. Introduce corrosion inhibitory agent.
Recommendation: DESOX 80 is an acid. Assure that the gas evacuation runs normally.
Because during evacuation some parts are difficult to reach, neutralisation after evacuation is necessary.
Reservation: Exclusive professional usage. See security data sheet.
Packaging: 10 l can with Ref. no. 7479 or 20 l can with Ref. no. 7480.
User recommendation: Product for professional usage according to instructions. We do not assume any responsibility in case of inexpediently
use of the product.
> Desoxidising Product on Strong Acids Basis
DDS 80
Description: DDS 80 is a solution containing hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid, inhibitory and surfactant agents. It rapidly
dissolves carbonates and oxides. It is used for the soiled and dirty canalisation plants . The product will not be introduced in the
closed circuits but in a loop with the help of TUBNET pumps for gas evacuation. The installation must have controlling size.
DDS 80 is suitable for mud obstructed pipes but also for limestone removal and deoxidation of warm-water plants. It does not
attack metals like iron, cast iron, copper, stainless steel, with the exception of zinc and aluminium.
Physical and chemical properties: - light yellow fluid - pH-value: acid. - water soluble in any ratio
Usage mode: - DDS 80 is used in concentration of 20 – 30 %.
- With the help of a TUBNET pump in aired rooms. Circulation time can vary between 4 and 12 hours depending on the DDS 80
concentration and scale level.
- After checking the removed scales , the canalisation pipes must be evacuated , rinsed and neutralised .
Recommendation: DDS 80 guarantees the soiled oxides and carbonates’ removal. It is important to check the pipes during the treatment in
order to act if necessary .
Reservation: Exclusive professional usage. See security data sheet.
Packaging: 10 l can with Ref. no. 7529 or 20 l can with Ref. no. 7530
User recommendation: Product for professional usage according to instructions. We do not assume any responsibility in case of inexpediently
use of the product.
