LIMESTONE REMOVAL AND ANTIOXIDISING PRODUCTS
> Phosphoric Limestone Removal Product
CALEX INOX
Description: Limestone removal and antioxydising product with relatively rapid effects, contains phosphoric acid,
corrosion inhibitory and surfactant agents.
Through its concentration CALEX INOX dissolves limestone and oxides and produces phosphate
compounds on the interior walls of the pipes.
It does not attack metals as iron, stainless steel, cast iron, copper. Exceptions are aluminium and zinc.
When the pipes or plants are evacuated a rinsing operation will be enough .
Laboratory analyses: - 0,5 l CALEX INOX + 0,5 l water can dissolve 100 g limestone in 60 minutes.
- 0,3 l CALEX INOX + 0,7 l water can dissolve 70 g limestone in 60 minutes.
Theorethical data that can vary according to the limestone scale .
Observation: A dissolving solution under 100 g/l acid is considered ineffective in a specific
time period.
Physical and chemical properties: - fluid on phosphoric acid basis
- colour: neutral
- pH-value: acid
- can be diluted with water in any ratio.
Usage mode: CALEX INOX can be used for removing limestone from stainless steel devices.
50% CALEX INOX and 50% CALEX CFF can be used for removing limestone and antioxidating
effect of canalisation plants.
For an effective solution our recomendation is to dilute it with 40% water.
Recommendation: For stainless steel pipes or devices products on hydochloric acid are not recommended.

CALEX 2000
Description: Limestone removal products with relatively slow effect, contains phosphoric acid, sulphonic acid,
corrosion inhibitory and surfactant agents.
Through its composition CALEX 2000 dissloves limestone and other stones and is non-aggressive.
During a reasonable reaction time it does not attack metals like cast iron, copper, stainless steel,
aluminium. CALEX 2000 does not have a toxic odour.
Laboratory analyses: - 0,5 l CALEX 2000 + 0,5 l water can dissolve 7 g limestone at 60˚C .
- 0,3 l CALEX 2000 + 0,7 l water can disslove 40 g limestone at 60˚C.
Theorethical data that can vary according to limestone types.
Physical and chemical properties: - fluid on phosphoric and sulphonic basis
- colour: orange
- colorimetric property, changes the colour in blue for pH-value 6
- can be diluted with water in any ratio.
Usage mode: Application with a TUBNET injection pump.
For an effective solution our recommendation is diluting it with 40% to 50% water.
