ANTIFREEZE SOLUTIONS FOR HEATING PLANTS

Description:
NET GEL SANIT is an antifreezing agent on monopropylene-glycol basis and corrosion inhibitory agents, used in
central heating circuits with or without warm-water preparation.
Physical and chemical properties:
- Red fluid.
- Density 1,045.
- PH-value: 8,5 – 9.
- Non toxic.
Usage mode:
According to the following table :

Determining the quantity of NET GEL SANIT to be injected:
- By evaluating the capacity of the installation to be protected
- By determinating the protection temperature (see table no.1)
Cleaning the installation:
- It is recommended to previously clean the installation.
- If mud or oxides are present they must be removed previous to using antifreezing agents.
- Even when none of the above-mentioned substances exist, a complete evacuation and rinsing before NET GEL
SANIT usage is necessary.
Introduction of NET GEL SANIT in the pipes by 2 methods:
1 - Filling procedure: Net Gel will be introduced through the highest installation point, for many times , in order to
obtain a homogenous composition.
2 - A mixture of water and antifreezing agent can also be used, mixing them in a tub to have it homogenous, the
mixture will then be introduced with an injection pump through an evacuation point or a valve.
Quality check for the antifreezing agent mixture:
- Control will be done every 2 years.
- Concentration of antifreezing agent: density (see table above).
- Anticorrosive concentration.
Recommendation:
An efficient dosis of antifreezing solution is determinated beginning from a concentration of minimum 30% for
obtaining a better balance between inhibitory and alkaline reserves .
