9. degrading or humiliating games and activities;<br />

10. late work sessions whether suggested, demanded or coerced, which interfere with<br />

scholastic activities.<br />

ANY FORM OF HAZING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. HAZING VIOLATIONS<br />

WILL RESULT IN THE SUSPENSION OF ALL INTAKE ACTIVITIES<br />

PENDING AN INVESTIGATION BY THE OFFICE OF STUDENT AFFAIRS,<br />

AND INDIVIDUALS WHO VIOLATE THIS GUIDELINE MAY FACE<br />

SUSPENSION OR EXPULSION FROM THE COLLEGE.<br />

14. Libel<br />

Any false assertions or charges that tend to offend or damage another’s reputation.<br />

Violation can subject the individual to suspension from the <strong>College</strong>. Individuals have the<br />

right to file civil charges (criminal offense).<br />

15. Noise Ordinance<br />

Persons found to be in violation of the noise ordinance shall be fined $25.00 for the first<br />

offense; $50.00 for the second offense and the third offense will result in suspension from<br />

the residence hall and/or the <strong>College</strong>.<br />

16. Opposite Sex Visitation in the Residence Halls<br />

Residential Hall lobbies are open in the residence halls for opposite sex visitation from<br />

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight and upperclass students may have opposite sex visitation in<br />

their rooms at designated times. (See Residential Life section of student handbook)<br />

Each offense is subject to a hearing with the judiciary council.<br />

17. Profanity/Abusive Language<br />

<strong>Student</strong>s are expected to respect themselves and others in the <strong>College</strong> community. The<br />

use of profanity and abusive language is prohibited.<br />

18. Rape<br />

The entering into, engaging in, or continuing to engage in sexual intercourse, which<br />

involves an act of vaginal, oral, or anal penetration with another person when occurs<br />

against that person’s will or without that person’s consent.<br />

19. Sexual Misconduct<br />

Sexual misconduct is defined as any unwanted physical, verbal or sexual advances,<br />

request for sexual favors, and other sexual oriented conduct, which is offensive or<br />
