Lobby Areas – Residential hall lobby areas are open in each residence hall from 10:00 a.m. -<br />
12:00 midnight for visitation.<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Identification Card – All students are required to carry their student identification card.<br />
The identification card provides access to the students’ respective residence hall, computer labs,<br />
and dining hall. <strong>Student</strong>s who lose their identification card should report it immediately to the<br />
Office of Residential Life. There is a $10 fee to replacing the identification card. (Fee subject to<br />
change)<br />
Vacation Closings - The residence halls will close for the Christmas and Spring Break vacations.<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s will NOT be able to stay on campus during these periods, and should plan to leave the<br />
residence halls when they are scheduled for closing. The date and hours for closing will be<br />
posted prior to vacation time. <strong>Student</strong>s are asked to take all valuables home with them during<br />
these periods. THE COLLEGE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT DURING THESE<br />
PERIODS. Please note that when the <strong>College</strong> is closed, residence halls may be closed.<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s that need to make special arrangements regarding travel and/or cannot leave the<br />
residence hall at the designated time must be cleared with the Director of Residential Life at least<br />
48 hours prior to the official vacation period.<br />
Off-Campus Housing - The <strong>College</strong> does not provide off-campus housing.<br />
Married Housing - There is no designated housing arrangements for married students at the<br />
<strong>College</strong>. A married student and spouse may have the privilege of living in the residence halls<br />
designated for the individual sexes, providing he/she is willing to adjust to the regulations of the<br />
residence hall and the <strong>College</strong>.<br />
Summer Housing - <strong>Student</strong>s who are allowed to reside on campus during the summer are all<br />
program participants (federal and/or summer camps). <strong>Student</strong> housing for summer school is<br />
limited and is approved on a first come, first serve basis. All summer residents will follow the<br />
guidelines outlined in the <strong>Student</strong> <strong>Handbook</strong>. The <strong>College</strong> also reserves the right to dictate<br />
specific curfews and administer special policies during the summer months.<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Guidelines & Regulations<br />
The assigned occupants of a dormitory room are financially responsible for all of the property<br />
that is a part of that room. In addition, they are also responsible for any breach of conduct which<br />
may occur within their assigned rooms (WHETHER GUEST OR THEMSELVES).<br />
The <strong>College</strong> reserves the right to inspect any space on its property at any time. When rooms are<br />
to be inspected, the occupants will be notified if possible. The inspection will be done by<br />
authorized personnel.<br />
