ComMtn – COMPUTER MAINTENANCE
Grade Placement: 10 – 12

Students learn the principles of computer maintenance to include basic knowledge of electrical/electronic
theory, computer hardware principles, and board level components related to the installation, diagnosis,
service, and repair of computer systems.
ComTch – COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
Grade Placement: 11 – 12
2 credit
Students gain knowledge and skills in the area of computer technologies to include advanced knowledge
of electrical/electronic theory, computer principles, and components related to the installation, diagnosis,
service, and repair of computer-based technology systems.
DigMed – DIGITAL AND INTERACTIVE MEDIA
Grade Placement: 10 – 12
1 credit
Students will analyze and assess current and emerging technologies, while designing and creating
multimedia projects that address customer needs and/or resolve a problem. The knowledge and skills
acquired and practiced will enable students to successfully perform and interact in a technology driven
society.
WebTch – WEB TECHNOLOGIES
Grade Placement: 10 – 12
1 credit
This course provides an opportunity for students to learn about computer hardware, software, and
networks associated with the World Wide Web. Students learning will concentrate on design, creation,
management, and evaluation of web pages/ sites using HTML coding, JavaScript and web production
software such as Dream Weaver. Students will also learn about computer ethics, acceptable use, and
copyright requirements.
