PRODUCT MANUAL
Building Tips: Locate the outside building line and strike the chalk line. The building line is the outside of the foam.
Remember to account for the 2¼" [57mm] or 4¼" [108mm] of foam on both sides of the wall.
The outside track should be installed first, using the building line struck on the footing. The Metal Track
is then secured to the footing every 2-2½' [60-75cm].
After the outside track has been placed, use a plywood spacer to place the inside track. Cut the spacer
to match the wall cavity size.
To avoid potential problems, the job supervisor should carefully check the attachment of Metal Track to
the footing before walls are built.
If the wall runs off the side of the footing or the footing is not wide enough, strap ties or some other form
of banding material can be used through the wall to connect the Metal Tracks/wood toe plates.
