Fig. 1. NA free of metal (left) and NA-Ni(II) chelate (right). MS ESI.Fig. 2. tNA free of metal (left) and tNA-Ni(II) chelate (right). MS ESI.ConclusionWe successfully achieved the synthesis of NA, tNA and analogues using an original solidsupported methodology and showed the chelating abilities of tNA in vitro.Further studies on metal transport in plant with NA, tNA and non-natural analoguesare in progress. The physiological role of the tNA in its host will be also investigated inorder to verify the existence of a phylogenetic evolution in metal chelation.AcknowledgmentsThis work was supported by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche.References1.
