<strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong> <strong>Operation</strong> <strong>Manual</strong>Figure 5.Bluetooth Shortcut to the <strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong>5.2 Establish a Bluetooth ConnectionThe <strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong> communicates with the iPAQ Pocket PC using Bluetoothprotocols. To establish a Bluetooth connection, do the following.a. Turn on power to the <strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong>. The Amber LED indicatespower is on. If the amber LED light is blinking, replace the <strong>StreamPro</strong><strong>ADCP</strong> batteries.b. Turn on Bluetooth.c. Start the Bluetooth Manager.d. Tap and hold the <strong>StreamPro</strong> icon, then tap Connect.e. The Bluetooth connection will take several seconds to connect. Observethat the Bluetooth light on the <strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong> is ON/Solid.NOTE. If you have a problem connecting, check the battery levels are OKfor both the iPAQ Pocket PC and the <strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong>.Using Bluetooth increases battery usage for the iPAQ Pocket PC. TurnBluetooth off when not using to conserve the battery.Test the Bluetooth ConnectionOnce you have established a connection to the <strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong>, you cantest the Bluetooth connection.a. Start <strong>StreamPro</strong> and tap the Setup tab. Tap Configuration File. SelectFactory Default to set the <strong>StreamPro</strong> to the default settings.b. Tap the Test tab.c.
