<strong>StreamPro</strong> <strong>ADCP</strong> <strong>Operation</strong> <strong>Manual</strong>8.2 Transducer AssemblyThe cable on the <strong>StreamPro</strong> transducer housing is a molded connector. Donot attempt to remove the cable from the transducer. The cable connectoron the electronic housing is a factory-installed item. We do not recommendremoving it for any routine maintenance.To make the connection, remove the protective cap from the receptacle onthe electronics housing. Insert the cable connector into the receptacle, rotatingit until the keyed portions are properly aligned. Thread the couplingring onto the receptacle to complete the connection.NOTE. The protective cap should be installed on the connector any timethe cable is removed from the electronic housing. Use the cap when the<strong>StreamPro</strong> is in storage or is being handled.Figure 9.<strong>StreamPro</strong> Transducer AssemblyNOTE. The Transducer assembly is a molded one-piece unit.
