At the same time, we are rising to the challenge of providinga large variety of options while maintaining optimised prices. Further aspects are themachining of complex major structural parts as well as further extending our leadingposition in the area of 5-axis machining.In the “Machine Tools” segment we are planning 16 new developments for thecoming financial year. gildemeister Drehmaschinen GmbH is adding to the TurningAssociation range of products with 4-axis machines within the ctx series. gildemeisterItaliana S.p.A. will round off the product portfolio in the area of cnc automatic latheturning. Within the Milling Association, deckel maho Pfronten is extending the productline of the universal milling machines in the monoblock series. In addition, building upthe gantry series forms the entry into a new dimension in large piece full machining.deckel maho Seebach will further expand the 5-axis milling machines of the new eVolutiongeneration within the Milling and Machining Association. Within the Ecoline Association,we will extend the current product range further to include cutting edge concepts.In the “Services” segment we will further enhance our trend-setting Life Cycleproducts. Through a range of comprehensive service solutions over the entire life cycle ofthe machine tool, we intend to increase the customer's benefits still further. Additionalimprovements in efficiency within our central spare parts supply are likewise included inthe activities as is enhancement in the area of automation and in tool management.In the “Energy Solutions” segment we will further expand our successful productportfolio and services and complement these with innovative, new concepts. In the businessarea of solar technology, the further development of the “SunCarrier” series is the focusof activities. The product range of the innovative “cellcube” battery system will beselectively extended.In production, technology and logistics in the current financial year, we will consistentlycontinue with the optimisation of and transition to flexible production and logisticsprocesses. We continue to work on implementing joint projects within the cooperationwith Mori Seiki. The success of the partnership style cooperation will be reflected in thejoint engineering and production of machines.
