Dr. Rüdiger Kapitza is responsiblefor corporate strategy, key accounting, personnel,purchasing, auditing, compliance, as well as investorand public relations.Günter Bachmann (59)has been a member of the Executive Board sinceOctober 2006. The engineering graduate studiedmechanical engineering at the Technical Universityof Chemnitz and started his professional career in1974 in the production area at today’s deckel mahoSeebach GmbH in Thüringen. He was promoted toHead of Production in 1985 and in 1994 to ManagingDirector of the company. Günter Bachmann is responsiblefor technology and production.Dr. Thorsten Schmidt (38)has been a member of the Executive Board since October2006. He holds a doctorate in economics from MünsterUniversity and has been working at gildemeister sinceJanuary 2002. He took over management responsibilityfor sales and services in America, after which he becamea managing director in Asia. Dr. Thorsten Schmidt isresponsible for the sales and service and the informationtechnology (it) areas.Kathrin Dahnke (50)has been a member of the Executive Board since May2010. The business studies graduate joined the groupin 2005 as the head of finance. Previously she heldvarious roles, most recently as general manager forfinance. Kathrin Dahnke is responsible for controlling,finance, accounting, tax and risk management.
