Attach the ground clip to the control panel. Attach theground wire extension to the ground clip. Attach the theblower ground wire to the ground wire extension.Recommended operating proceduresIgnite the fire in the appliance with the variable speedcontrol switch in an "ON" position. The fan will automaticallyturn on when the temperature sensor switch closesat approximately 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Heated airshould be delivered at the outlet grille. The fan will continueto operate after the appliance is turned OFF until thesensor switch opens.Various conditions (such as appliance model, type ofappliance installation, outside air temperature vs. insideair temperature) can contribute to the length of the timethe blower remains on after the appliance is turned OFF.The blower can be turned off manually with the speedcontrol switch.Figure 8.28Plug the blower cord into the FAN outlet on the junctionbox. Refer to Figure 8.29, on the next page.Push excess wires neatly towards the rear of the appliance.Slide the blower into the bracket as indicated. Ensurethe blower is pushed back into the bracket to allow thereplacement of the lower access door. The magnet stripslocated on the blower feet are designed to hold the blowerin place.
