ControlsOn/off Switch: When this switch is in the ON position, thepilot ignitor is engaged until temperature is established.The burner automatically turns on.Valve Variable Control: This knob controls the flameheight from low (“LO”) to high (“HI”). The indicator on thevalve indicates the position of the knob.Variable Speed Control: The blower is optional installedon the appliance and this knob controls the speed of theblower that pushes the heated air into the room.Valve Variable ControlWARNINGHOT SURFACES!Glass and other surfaces are hot duringoperation AND cool down.Hot glass will cause burns.• Do not touch glass until it is cooled• NEVER allow children to touch glass• Keep children away• CAREFULLY SUPERVISE children in same room asfi replace.• Alert children and adults to hazards of high temperatures.High temperatures may ignite clothing or otherflammable materials.• Keep clothing, furniture, draperies and other fl ammablematerials away.WARNINGDo NOT use this appliance if any part has been under water.Immediately call a qualifi ed service technician to inspect theappliance and to replace any part of the control system andany gas control which has been under water.Note: If using a remote control wall switch, or thermostat,the On/Off Switch must be left “OFF”.
