. Landscape and irrigation plans may be combined on the same drawingwith required Site Development <strong>Plan</strong> when lot coverage allowsfor perimeter landscaping.c. At Staff’s direction, perimeter landscaping may be required dependingon the design <strong>of</strong> the project and it’s relationship to the lot and/or thesurrounding area.d. Where perimeter landscape is required, the minimum requirementwill be one 24” boxed tree every 20 feet on center with four (5) gallonshrubs per each required tree.e. Ground covers shall be installed in all landscaped areas. Non-vegetativeground covers shall include, but not be limited to, rocks andsmall stones, and crushed rock to a minimum depth <strong>of</strong> two inches inall areas.f. When a project is proposed with turf in it’s landscape design it will belimited to a maximum <strong>of</strong> 25% <strong>of</strong> total landscaped area for commercialand industrial projects and a maximum <strong>of</strong> 30% for a multi-familyproject.g. The clustering <strong>of</strong> plant material into groups <strong>of</strong> three or more plants isencouraged.h. All landscape and irrigation plans shall be prepared and stamped bya registered Architect, Landscape Architect, Residential Designer orCivil Engineer.i. The owner, developer and occupant <strong>of</strong> the property are jointly andseverally responsible for maintaining or assuring the ongoing maintenance<strong>of</strong> installed landscaping so that the landscaping continues tothrive.j. All landscape located within the public right-<strong>of</strong>-way shall have anencroachment agreement from Public Works prior to installation.121LAS VEGAS DOWNTOWNCENTENNIAL PLANDESIGN STANDARDSPER DISTRICT8. Construction Standards.a. Noise. The entire <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong> <strong>Downtown</strong> <strong>Centennial</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> area shall beconsidered a commercial use district as related to the noise ordinance,per Title 9.16.b. Construction Fences. Construction fences within the <strong>Las</strong> <strong>Vegas</strong><strong>Downtown</strong> <strong>Centennial</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> area shall be subject to the requirementslisted in Title 19.18.100, “Temporary Commercial Permit.” In additionto the requirements listed in Title 19.18.100, the following standardsshall also apply:LAS VEGAS DOWNTOWN CENTENNIAL PLANPD-0012-08-2012RS
