Parking Structures.Parking structures shall have ground level retail, office and/or restaurantspace incorporated into the design of the structure on all frontages. Suchstructures shall have no front or corner side setback (Graphic 11).Exterior walls of all parking structures shall be designed as part of thearchitectural form of the primary and/or the surrounding buildingsand shall incorporate the same materials, finishes and proportions ofthe primary building.Where parking structures do not incorporate ground level retail, officeand/or restaurant space then a ten-foot landscaped setback is required.Said setback shall have sufficient enough landscaping as to block theparking structure from view at the pedestrian level.f. Special Event Parking Lot Development Standards.A special event parking lot is a parking lot that is used on an intermittentbasis, operated only in conjunction with special events, festivals, or similaruses of limited duration. The use of a special event parking lot shall notexceed six times per month. On-site signage shall be posted on the propertyin a visible location, prohibiting parking that exceeds the designatedduration or use period. The lot may be paved or unpaved; unpaved lotsshall be subject to applicable requirements of the Clark County Departmentof Air Quality or its successor. Bumpers or tire stops are not required.Landscape islands, perimeter landscape buffers and streetscape amenitiesare not required. Applications for special event parking lots shall beprocessed as a Temporary Commercial Permit under LVMC Title 19, exceptthat the duration and use periods normally applicable to a TemporaryCommercial Permit shall not apply. A Temporary Commercial Permit fora Special Event Parking Lot shall be valid for a period of one year fromthe date of issuance.g. Temporary Parking Lot Development Standards.A temporary parking lot is a parking lot that is developed as an interimuse of land for a limited time period, and is not intended to serve asrequired parking for a development. Approval for a temporary parkinglot may be for a period not to exceed three years.
