f. Lighting. Lighting, when provided, shall be shielded and <strong>of</strong> low wattageso as to illuminate only the outdoor dining area and so as to avoidproducing glare that has a negative impact on pedestrian traffic. Thedesign <strong>of</strong> the light fixtures shall be compatible with the architecturaltheme <strong>of</strong> the building and business.g. Storage <strong>of</strong> Furniture and Equipment. All outdoor furnishings relatedto an outdoor dining area shall be stored inside during non-businesshours <strong>of</strong> operation. Non-permanent landscape planters may remainoutside.h. Maintenance. Outdoor dining areas shall be kept in good state <strong>of</strong>repair and maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition. Anyitem <strong>of</strong> furniture or equipment that is broken, rusting, degraded, torn,or tattered shall be removed promptly. The outdoor dining area mustbe swept and mopped every night after closing.i. Music and Live Entertainment. Music and Live Entertainment arepermitted as an accessory amentity. No dancing, cover charge orminimum drink will be permitted. Any music or entertainment willcomply with applicable noise ordinances and standards.j. Alcoholic Beverage Service. Alcoholic beverage service in outdoorseating areas shall conform to LVMC Title 6.37LAS VEGAS DOWNTOWNCENTENNIAL PLANOUTDOORDINING STANDARDS3. Encroachment Approval.Any dining or entertainment to take place within the public right-<strong>of</strong>-waywill require approval <strong>of</strong> an encroachment permit or agreement pursuant toLVMC 13.32.065.B. OUTDOOR DINING AND ENTERTAINMENTSTANDARDS: PRIVATE PROPERTY.1. Applicability.The standards <strong>of</strong> this subsection apply to outdoor dining or outdoorseating areas that occur or are proposed to occur on private property. For thepurposes <strong>of</strong> this subsection, the terms “outdoor dining or outdoor seating”and “outdoor dining or seating area” refer to an unenclosed dining or seatingarea on private property.2.
