THE MADHYA PRADESH TREASURY CODEVOLUME I(3) After payment of arrears of pension, both portions of the Pension PaymentOrder shall be returned to the Accountant-General with a report of the date of deathof pensioner, except in the case of pensioners governed by the Family PensionScheme for State Government Employees, 1966, in which case the pensioner'sportion of the Pension Payment Order will be returned to the widow/widower.REPORTS TO THE ACCOUNTANT-GENERAL389. Every pension disbursing officer shall submit to the Account-General every sixmonths a statement of cases of failure to draw pensions. The statement shall beprepared in two parts, one part showing the names of all pensioners who have notdrawn their pension for six years or for three years, according as the pensioners areclassed as political pensions or other pensions, and the other part showing thenames of pensioners other than those included in the former part, who have notdrawn their pensions for more than one year. The reason for the non-drawal, ifknown, shall be stated against each name.The disburser's portions of the Pension Payment Orders of all pensionerswhose name are included in part I of the statement, as also of deceased pensioners,where the arrears of pensions due are not claimed within one year of the pensioner'sdeath, shall be returned to the Accountant-General along with the statement. Thedisbursing officer shall sort out such cases by examining the file of Pension paymentOrders every month.390. 1 [Deleted.]SUB-SECTION VII-MILITARY PENSIONS391. Without prejudice to the generality of provisions made in this chapter, andsubject to such general or special orders as the Government may issue in this behalf,to the procedure to be observed by disbursing officers in making payments toMilitary pensioners may be prescribed by departmental regulations.1CHAPTER IV 21 of 60WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FUNDAND THE PUBLIC ACCOUNT
