<strong>THE</strong> <strong>MADHYA</strong> <strong>PRADESH</strong> <strong>TREASURY</strong> <strong>CODE</strong>VOLUME IPAYMENTS TO <strong>THE</strong> RESERVE BANK436. Bills for sums payable to the Reserve Bank e. g. , bills in connection withfloatation of new loans, management of Public Debt, etc. , shall be countersigned byan officer of the Finance Department before they are paid.Note:- The Bank is authorized to debit to Government account, in advance of thesubmission of consolidated bills for expenses incurred in connection with thefloatation of a Government loan, payments which it may make to bankers,etc. , on account of brokerage, subject to the condition that the Bank acceptsthe responsibility in the event of any excess payment being made. Theadvance so made should be adjusted against the final bill of the Bank.COMMISSION AND COMMITTEES437. The procedure to be observed by commissions and committees of theGovernment in drawing moneys for their expenditure shall be governed by theorders issued in each case.COMMISSION TO PATELS IN CENTRAL PROVINCES AND MERGEDTERRITORIES FOR REVENUE COLLECTIONS.438. (a) The rules regarding the calculation and payment of commission to Patels forcollection of land revenue have been issued in the Revenue Department'sMemorandum No. 1343-6380-VII/N. I. dated the 30th January, 1960. and No. 4350-1422/VII/N-II, dated the 9th August, 1963. The collection of land revenue andpayment of Commission to Patels should be recorded separately in the treasuryaccounts and register. The commission to Patels for collection of land revenue shouldbe paid in accordance with the following slab system on the amount of collections ofland revenue and miscellaneous revenue:--6 NP. per rupee of first Rs. 1, 500/- of land revenue collected. 4 NP. perrupee of second Rs. 1, 500/- of land revenue collected.CHAPTER IV 54 of 60WITHDRAWAL FROM <strong>THE</strong> CONSOLIDATED FUNDAND <strong>THE</strong> PUBLIC ACCOUNT
