He is Chairman of the Boardof <strong>Direct</strong>ors, has served as our Co-ChiefExecutive Officer since 1999 and has served ourCompany since 1989 in various capacities,including as the Chief Financial Officer andChief Operating Officer of PFS, a general agentand a subsidiary of <strong>Primerica</strong>. Mr. Williamsjoined the American Can Company, amanufacturing company and predecessor toCiti, in 1979 and eventually headed thecompany’s Acquisition and Development areafor financial services and was part of the teamresponsible for the acquisition of <strong>Primerica</strong>.Mr. Williams earned both his B.S. degree in 1978and his M.B.A. in 1979 from the Wharton Schoolof the University of Pennsylvania. He serves onthe boards of trustees for the FernbankMuseum of Natural History, the Woodruff ArtsCenter and the Anti-Defamation LeagueSoutheast Region.John A. Addison, Jr. was elected to our boardin October 2009. He is the Chairman of<strong>Primerica</strong> Distribution, has served as ourCo-Chief Executive Officer since 1999 and hasserved our Company in various capacities since1982 when he joined us as a business systemsanalyst. Mr. Addison has served in numerousofficer roles with <strong>Primerica</strong> Life, a life insuranceunderwriter, and PFS, a general agent, both ofwhich are subsidiaries of <strong>Primerica</strong>. He servedas Vice President and Senior Vice President of<strong>Primerica</strong> Life. He also served as Executive VicePresident and Group Executive Vice Presidentof Marketing. In 1995, he became President ofPFS and he was promoted to Co-ChiefExecutive Officer in 1999. Mr. Addison earnedhis B.A. in economics from the University ofGeorgia in 1979 and M.B.A. from Georgia StateUniversity in 1988.Jeffrey S. Fendler has served our Company invarious capacities since 1980, and has servedas President of <strong>Primerica</strong> Life since 2005. Heserved in various management roles at<strong>Primerica</strong> Life from 1989 to 1995 and asPresident of PFS Investments from 1987 to1989. Mr. Fendler received a B.A. in economicsfrom Tulane University. Mr. Fendler is amember of Operation Hope’s National Boardand is the Chair of Operation Hope’sSoutheastern Region Board.William A. Kelly has served our Company invarious capacities since 1985. He has served asPresident of PFS Investments since 2005 andhas overseen <strong>Primerica</strong> Life InsuranceCompany of Canada, a subsidiary of <strong>Primerica</strong>,since 2009. Since 1999, Mr. Kelly has served asan Executive Vice President of <strong>Primerica</strong> withresponsibilities within the Investment andSavings Products segment and compliance andinformation technology business divisions.
