Catalogues of the Czacki collection remainingin the Czartoryski Library in Cracow show no sign of this manuscript, 64however, thus corroborating its place among the materials returned fromSweden.It is noteworthy that the subsequent volume in the Kornik collection is avolume of chancery papers from Kryski's chancery dating from 1613-1616. 65 In this case, however, the papers contained are fragments, roughdrafts, and notes from diplomatic documents such as would later appear in alegation or ambassadorial register rather than in an inscription book of theCrown Metrica. The volume itself is not a completed, official chanceryvolume such as would have been prepared for the Crown Metrica. Infurther contrast to number 323, the volume has a white parchment binding.It bears a note that it was held in the eighteenth century in the library ofLukaszewicz; presumably, it came to Kornik through the bibliophile JozefLukaszewicz (1799-1873).The Kornik volume is remarkable as the only known book of theRuthenian Metrica that is not held with the Lithuanian Metrica complex inTsGADA. Many of the documents it contains appear to be unique copies ofcharters or other privileges issued by the Crown chancery during the years1609-1612.
