Theevent was open to both practicing attorneys and students. Aspecial thanks is owed to Georgia Tech Dean ofEngineering, Gary May, and his Executive Assistant,LaJauna Ellis, for their assistance in holding the event onthe Georgia Tech campus. Without their help, the eventwould not have been possible.The event provided a working knowledge of each of theseareas of intellectual property law.Thanks to the kindness and cooperation between GeorgiaTech, the Intellectual Property Section, and ICLE, studentswere offered a significantly discounted registration fee.There was a lot of excitement surrounding the event. Wehad 55 pre-registered attendees and several who signed upat the event. Thanks to Rivka's hard work, the day provideda great opportunity to take a crash course on the basics ofthree of the major practice areas.
